Well, first of all I hope you guys liked the cat movie i posted earlier today. I found it on google video and thought you all had to see the funny cats.
Second I want to tell all of you about the big storm we had here yesterday. We had some problems according to the bad weather: a 12 year old tree fell down and we lost some tiles from the roof.
Holland was total chaos! In several buildings the glass was blown out of the windows and the trains and busses couldn't drive anymore because of the wind and the trees that came down on the tracks and roads.
5 people even died, because of the storm!
This where the problems for the people. The animals had problems as well! Birds couldn't fly and several animals got stuck underneath trees!!
Well... as i said before total chaos!

Some pictures of Stichting Dierenthuis
In my first post I told about the place i worked. Here is the post about it!
In our society there is barely a place for old, sick and needy dogs and cats. When they can't live with their owners anymore, they often can be found in shelters without any hope of adoption. Luckily there's an organization that cares about the fate of these poor creatures: Stichting Dierenthuis.
Stichting Dierenthuis is a permanent home where the animals live in a home situation. It is a home for old, sick and needy dogs and feral cats. The animals come from shelters where they often were brought in mistreated and neglected. But they also come from people who've made arrangements that Stichting Dierenthuis will take care of the animals when the owners can't do it themselves anymore in the event of death. Meanwhile there are over 300 animals living in a true dog and cat paradise on earth without cages, or bars. They can count on continuous care, because the owners live with the animals.
