Some pictures of Stichting Dierenthuis

In my first post I told about the place i worked. Here is the post about it!

In our society there is barely a place for old, sick and needy dogs and cats. When they can't live with their owners anymore, they often can be found in shelters without any hope of adoption. Luckily there's an organization that cares about the fate of these poor creatures: Stichting Dierenthuis.
Stichting Dierenthuis is a permanent home where the animals live in a home situation. It is a home for old, sick and needy dogs and feral cats. The animals come from shelters where they often were brought in mistreated and neglected. But they also come from people who've made arrangements that Stichting Dierenthuis will take care of the animals when the owners can't do it themselves anymore in the event of death. Meanwhile there are over 300 animals living in a true dog and cat paradise on earth without cages, or bars. They can count on continuous care, because the owners live with the animals.

Introduction

Well, this is my weblog made for school. I study at the Groenhorst College in Barneveld, Holland. This is my first year out of the two years it takes for me to become a vet nurse. The special thing about my study is that you are able to do parts of in England. Next year februari and march me and my fellow students are going to Warwickshire college for 5 weeks. I am looking forward to it allready!
Well, that's enough about school.

Now something about myself! I'm 18 years old, live in Barneveld and am Dutch from origin. I always had a passion for animals and that's why I chose to become a vet nurse. Another thing I have quite some passion for is horseback riding. I do this every friday afternoon since I was about 8 years old. Still dont have my own horse tho :(
